Talk It Up Speech Therapy, LLC was founded by Christopher Massella.  Chris holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the national governing and credentialing organization for speech-language pathologists and audiologists.  He also maintains a license from the state of Pennsylvania.  He earned a Master of Science in speech-language pathology from Nova Southeastern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Villanova University.

Chris’ initial experience with speech therapy occurred when he sought speech therapy as an adult for fluency, or stuttering.  Experiencing the incredible frustration of stuttering, he found freedom through speech therapy.  Finally finding the ability to say what he wanted to say when he wanted wanted to say it, Chris thrives on helping others find their voices.

Because fluency played a major motivator in Chris’ life, he completed training for the Lidcombe Program for Early Stuttering Treatment, a behavioral treatment focusing on stuttering for preschool children.

Chris has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, early intervention (home-based therapy for ages 0-3), and preschools for ages 3-5.  He brings incredible passion for working with children, providing comprehensive and individual therapy while partnering with families.

Chris lives in Blue Bell, PA with his wife and three young children.
